After a terrible experience elsewhere, I quickly booked Pondok Mertha House in the hopes of a better stay. It exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony provided a lovely view of rice paddies. Wayan and her family were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The breakfast, especially the banana pancakes, was delicious. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Monkey Forest and the main shopping area. a fantastic experience that I would definitely repeat!
I recommend this hotel.

The beds at Pondok Mertha House Ubud were incredibly cozy, with soft down pillows and luxurious linens. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud every night.
Personally, I found the desk in the room to be a bit small. However, others might still find it suitable for their needs.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the city center and just off the main road. It was a short walk to the main shopping market area and all the activity on Monkey Forest Rd. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, from the spotlessly clean rooms to the huge and well-maintained bathrooms. The hotel facilities were great, with scooters available for rent at a fair price. The breakfast on the balcony was a wonderful way to start the day, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Cannot find any fault.
